Not everyone lives their university experience as unique and fun and all that stuff we imagine when we are finishing our scholar education. I'm actually 26 years old, and I can tell you about my twoo expierences as an universitary sutdent. So, let's see.. after my last year in scholar education, I began studying kinesiology. It wasn't a pleasurable experience, because at that time I didn't wanted to study a career yet. Why did I began then?...that's another story, not a funny one. But don't worry, I won't tell you :3
After a few years, my parents understood that I didn't like anything about kinesiology. They asked to me to finish my career and after I could choose a new one, something that I really wanted... but then, in fourth year, I had a really serious accident. I had to left kinesiology, and it was kind of a hard time. That fisrt experience as a student wasn't good, didn't enjoyed in every way.
After a few years, when I was fully recovered from my surgerys, I choose psychology as a career. At first I wasn't so motivated and opened to this new experience...I was already "old" for this new and fresh generation, and I was scared to start all over again, but then I met my classmates..and what can I tell you, they're the best!...totally love them. No-one was closed to me, and they turned out to be amazing people. My subjects are very interesting and I fell in love with my career...I really really love this experience. Now that I'm older, I feel the pressure of being a student yet and see my friends from school already doing interesting stuff at their work places, or travelling to some amazing places... but what can I tell you, I wouldn't change this experience in a lifetime c:!
I really hope for you to be enjoying your university life, 'cause it won't be the same again in another time, in another place or in another age.

I think that is very important study something that makes you happy! Besides of that never is late to start and live new experiences, and always you can find amazing people like your classmates in the new experiences that you undertake!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you can take a second choice to enjoy university time, I think this is one of the best period of life (I enjoy it a lot too) :) I think is very difficult to choose when we are in school, we are very young yet! Continue enjoy psychology!!

ReplyDeleteIn Chile, we believe that all you have to do is go to university and graduate young. This is very stressful. Age does not matter. No matter how delay. The important thing is that you like.
